Glowary ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website (the "Service").

Information you provide:

• Account information — name, email address, and profile details.
• Photos — facial images you voluntarily submit for analysis, including any selfie you upload to the "try the scan" preview on our website.
• Waitlist & contact data — email and name from our forms.

Collected automatically:

• Device information (model, OS version, identifiers)
• Usage data (features accessed, time spent, interactions)
• IP address and approximate location
• Crash reports and performance data

• Provide, operate, and improve the Glowary Service
• Perform AI-powered facial analysis and generate your Glow Score
• Send waitlist updates, product announcements, and important notices
• Respond to inquiries and support requests
• Monitor and analyze usage to enhance the experience
• Comply with legal obligations

• In-app processing — the Glowary app runs its AI analysis on your device where possible, so raw photos stay on your phone.
• Website preview scan — if you use the "try the scan" feature on our website, the photo you upload is securely stored on our Firebase servers so we can improve the product. It is kept private, never shown publicly, and never sold.
• No biometric identifiers — we do not create or store facial-recognition templates used to identify you.
• Deletion — you may request deletion of any stored photos or analysis data at any time by emailing us.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers — Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and analytics, under strict data-processing agreements.
• Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion at any time.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (EU/UK)

Glowary is not directed to children under 13 (16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have, contact us immediately.

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular reviews. No method of transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy periodically and will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
